Aurora Media Workshop
Q1: What is windows media format?
Windows Media Format is a proprietary format designed primarily for streaming audio, video and text from Internet servers to client computers. A Windows Media file can also be stored and played locally. Each Windows Media file contains one or more media streams that together form a multimedia presentation. Stream delivery is synchronized to a common timeline.
Q2: Can I convert letter box to full-screen?
A2: Yes. You can select different resize mode.
Resize to fit output size: The image is stretched to fit the target frame size in both dimensions, without preserving the aspect ratio.
No resize: The image is not resized. If the image is smaller than the target frame, the surrounding area is black. If the image is larger than the target frame, the image is cropped.
Resize preserving the aspect ratio: The image is resized to fit the target frame along one dimension, while preserving the aspect ratio. If the ratio of width to height in the image does not match the ratio in the target frame, it creates a letterbox.
Resize crop:The image is resized to fill the entire target frame while preserving the aspect ratio. Rather than create a letterbox, this mode crops the image, either along the sides or across the top and bottom.

Q6: What is the system requirmnet of Aurora Media Workshop?
Aurora MPEG To DVD Burner
Q1: What is the system requirmnet of Aurora Media Workshop?
Q2: If I want to use the DVD+R at its maximum memory of 4.7GB through your burning software, what should i do in Aurora MPEG To DVD Burner in order to let it runs in it highest capacity
A1: It is very hard to control the capacity precisely, because of the variant bitrate conversion from different source files. so i will recommand you not to add fully 120mins movies in one disc at the risk of exceeding capacity. Do for add 110mins. There is another inconvenient step by step method which will be more precise to control the capacity:
1.Select the last item in "Select drive" combobox in "burn disc" form , default is "c:\aurora_dvd". this option will genurate "VIDEO_TS","AUDIO_TS" directories.
2.Click "start" button and wait the task complete.
3.Go to temporary directory ,default is "c:\aurora_dvd", and check the files size in "VIDEO_TS".
4.You will find many "(aurorafixeddvd)your_file_original_title.mpg" files in "c:\aurora_dvd". If some of your source files are already DVD compatible MPEG, them will not be fixed. Fixed files size add unfixed files size is the target files size.
5.Select the fixed mpeg files and unfixed mpeg files which is already DVD compatible as the source files, Selcet a DVD writer driver in "Select drive" combobox in "burn disc" form, and burn the disc.
Q3: What is ISO9660 and UDF options mean?
We are supplying two burning engine to make the program more compatible with DVD writer and DVD Player. you can select ISO9660 or UDF file system format which add more the compatibility to the writer and disc. UDF disc will be more compatible with DVD player, and ISO9660 will be more compatible with DVD writer.
Q4: Why "Fix mpeg..." takes so long time?
Aurora MPEG To DVD burner will convert uncompatible DVD mpeg files and avi files to compatible DVD mpeg files. The conversion time depends on the length of the movie. The converted compatible DVD mpeg files will be stored in output directory(default is c:\aurora_dvd). Look http://www.mediatox.com/mpeg-to-dvd-t1.htm for how to make dvd disc in two steps.
Q5: I have captured the video to local HD as MPEG4 (avi), and converted to VOBs etc. When I add the "VIDEO_TS.VOB" and select "Authorize" it seems to work, but gives the following message: "Fix MPEG Files"
"Fail to fix file please contact us"
Aurora MPEG To DVD Burner does not support already authorized dvd image files, for example "VIDEO_TS.VOB". The correct useage of MPEG To DVD Burner is:
step1: Convert avi, mpeg format video files to MPEG2 DVD compatible(VOB)
step2: Select, authorize, and burn the files output in step1.
you have got VIDEO_TS.VOB, this is one the authorized dvd image files. If you have already authorized your video into dvd images(VIDEO_TS folder with VIDEO_TS.VOB,VIDEO_TS.BUP,ETC. in it), you should skip authorize step, and use build-in Aurora Video DVD Burner to burn disc. If you want to rebuild your dvd and reauthorize using MPEG To DVD Burner, please do not select VIDEO_TS.VOB(it is only 100kb or less, not the movie file).
Q6: I captured the DVD file from TV NTSC.
Then I converted the file to MPEG(DVD PAL) with the
MPEG TO DVD Burner and got a 3GB mpg file. Then I tried to burn this converted MPEG (DVD PAL) file and got following Error Message:
"Fail to Split streams, please contact us. "
The error is caused by "unable to process too large file".
Please split your movie files to MPEG2 DVD-PAL format setting file suffix to vob and the output file should not exceed 2GB. After conversion, you can select, authorize, burn them to dvd disc.
